Hebert Attended the 2016 Sweets & Snacks Expo

This past May, Hebert Candies sent a team to the Sweets & Snacks Expo at McCormick Place in Chicago for the 4th year in a row. This 19 year old show is hosted by the National Confectioners Association and this year held more than 720 companies and 16,000 industry professionals from nearly 90 countries.

In addition to the show being the ideal place to meet and talk with professionals across the industry, there is also a robust presentation where industry thought leaders share their insight on a variety of topics about the sweets & snacks industry. For example, Amy Margolies, Senior Partner Leader from Google, presented insight on the topic of digital shopping and its impact on candy and snack consumers.

This year Hebert Candies focused on presenting our private label packaging, seasonal collections, and gift options. We highlighted traditional and new favorites, for instance our fudge, chocolate bars, and molded chocolate. As usual it was a great opportunity to see what’s trending, strut our own stuff, learn more, and meet new people. We can’t wait until next year!
