Frederick Hebert introduced white chocolate to the United States in 1956, after tasting "white coat" candies while on a trip to Europe. White chocolate (or white coating) was developed in Switzerland shortly after World War I, and became popular in the United States after Mr. Hebert began to make and promote "White" Genevas and other "white coat" candies. Hebert's Fancy Assortments are carefully edited selections of our distinctive chocolates, including coconut dainties, marzipan, toffee centers and nut patties mixed with our traditional crèmes and caramels. Hebert's Genevas are the one of the best ways to experience the exceptional taste and smooth texture of our signature blends of milk, white or dark chocolate. Each "plain" Geneva is a solid cube of chocolate, while "nut" Genevas feature a whole almond covered in chocolate. There are 50 Genevas in each pound sized box. Traditional Boxed Chocolates
Milk, white and dark chocolate blends enrobe our renowned soft crème centers, flavored with vanilla, chocolate, raspberry, orange, maple, and mocha. Our caramels, nut chews and caramel "clouds" are made here at the Candy Mansion using our traditional recipes. Flavors include maple walnut, vanilla cashew, chocolate, maple and vanilla.
