Unlike sweaters, soccer balls and books, Hebert's chocolates are delicate creations. In order to assure that your order arrives at its destination looking beautiful and tasting delicious, we have some special shipping needs to take into consideration.

 

General Shipping Information

Hebert Candies ships most orders via United Parcel Service (UPS). Shipping and handling fees listed on our website are valid for orders shipping within the Continental United States.

Exposure to heat can occur at some point during the shipping process almost any time of year. Hebert will provide, free of charge, Warm Weather Pack (insulated bags with ice packs) to ensure that your chocolates will not be damaged by exposure to heat (temperatures above 68 degrees Fahrenheit. Additionally, the Warm Weather Pack is only meant to last up to 48 hours (2 days). Hebert can not be responsible for damage due to heat exposure if a shipping mode of longer than 2 days is selected (see UPS Shipping Map below).
Guaranteed arrival on a specific date within the continental U.S. can only be accomplished by using "2 Day Air or Next Day Air". Outside the continental U.S., arrival on a specific date is attempted, but cannot be guaranteed.

Due to the 48 hour processing of website orders, once an order is submitted there is no way to accommodate a change. This includes changes in quantity, ship method, address and item. Please make sure all information is correct when submitting order.

Methods:
Ground, Overnight, 2-Day, 3-Day UPS services are available. Shipping via U.S. Postal Service is not available.

Note: We are unable to ship to international addresses, APO or FPO addresses or U.S. territories.

Addresses:
Complete address must contain name, street address, apartment or suite numbers, city, state and correct zip code. We do not ship to PO Boxes. Hebert cannot be responsible for lost or delayed packages caused by insufficient addresses.
Please verify all addresses for accuracy. It is our pleasure to guarantee our gifts, but we cannot guarantee shipments lost, returned or spoiled because of inaccurate or incomplete shipping information. Reshipping will incur an additional shipping charge.

Orders Placed From April 15 through October 15                  

Weekday Shipping and Handling Information: Orders for immediate delivery placed on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday by 1 PM ET will ship the following day. During the warmer months of April - October, to ensure that your candy arrives in good condition, products will be shipped in our Warm Weather Pack (insulated bags with ice packs intended to last up to a maximum of 48 hours-2 days) free of charge. During warm weather months, items will ship via overnight or 2nd day with an ice pack (except for shipping to Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, New York, Maine and Vermont).  Please contact customer service with any questions - customerservice@hebertcandies.com.  Hebert can not be responsible for damage due to heat exposure if the appropriate shipping mode is not selected.

Summer Shipping Information: Because temperatures can vary dramatically across the country, we do not ship over the weekend. This assures premium quality upon arrival. For this reason, all orders submitted after 1 PM ET on Wednesday through 10:30 AM ET Sunday will ship the following Monday (Tuesday if Monday is a holiday).

 

Orders Placed From October 16 through April 14                   

Weekday Shipping and Handling Information: Orders for immediate delivery placed on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday by 1 PM ET will ship the following day.

Weekend Shipping and Handling Information: All orders submitted after 1 PM ET on Thursday through 10:30 AM ET Sunday will ship the following Monday (Tuesday if Monday is a holiday). The only exceptions are for orders placed as Next Day Air service.
