  Unlike sweaters, soccer balls and books, Hebert's chocolates are delicate creations. In order to assure that your order arrives at its destination looking beautiful and tasting delicious, we have some special shipping needs to take into consideration.

General Shipping
Information
Hebert Candies ships most orders via United Parcel Service (UPS). Shipping and handling fees listed on our website are valid for orders shipping within the Continental United States.

Exposure to heat can occur at some point during the shipping process almost any time of year. Hebert will provide, free of charge, Warm Weather Pack (insulated bags with ice packs) to ensure that your chocolates will not be damaged by exposure to heat (temperatures above 68 degrees farienheit). Additionally, the Warm Weather Pack is only meant to last up to 48 hours (2 days). Hebert can not be responsible for damage due to heat exposure if a shipping mode of longer than 2 days is selected (see UPS Shipping Map below).

Guaranteed arrival on a specific date within the continental U.S. can only be accomplished by using "2 Day Air or Next Day Air". Outside the continental U.S., arrival on a specific date is attempted, but cannot be guaranteed.

Weekday Shipping and Handling Information: Orders for immediate delivery placed on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday by 1 PM ET will ship the following day. During the summer months of June, July, and August, to ensure that your candy arrives in good condition, products will be shipped in our Warm Weather Pack (insulated bags with ice packs intended to last up to a maximum of 48 hours-2 days) free of charge. However, we strongly recommend second day or overnight delivery for shipments outside of New England (Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, and Rhode Island). Hebert can not be responsible for damage due to heat exposure if the appropriate shipping mode is not selected.

Weekend Shipping and Handling Information: Because temperatures can vary dramatically across the country, we do not ship over the weekend. This assures premium quality upon arrival. For this reason, all orders submitted after 1 PM ET on Wednesday through 10:30 AM ET Sunday will ship the following Monday (Tuesday if Monday is a holiday).

and Military Personnel:
Orders shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico may incur additional shipping and handling charges, please contact our Retail Store at 866 432 3781 ext. 243 or email retail@hebertcandies.com for more information or to place an order.

Shipments to the US Virgin Islands & Guam require additional handling; the US Postal Service is the required Standard shipping method for these locations. Since 2 day Air or next day Air cannot be used, Hebert's cannot ensure product quality of chocolate products shipped to these locations.

APO/FPO addresses ship via the US Postal Service. The USDA has published recommendations for mailing food gifts to military installations overseas. Sending chocolate to the Persian Gulf region is discouraged because of the likelihood of melting in high temperatures. For security reasons, the USPS will not deliver packages addressed to "Any Serviceman", so please be sure to include a valid name and address with your order.
