In 1917 Hebert Candies
was born, when Frederick Hebert purchased a copper kettle, knife,
thermometer, table, marble slab and stove for eleven dollars. For
thirty years, he developed and manufactured candies, selling them to
small neighborhood stores throughout Central Massachusetts. At Hebert Confections, we still maintain the tradition of New England's finest hand crafted confections, using the highest quality ingredients in small batches.  In 1946 Mr. Hebert purchased a Tudor stone mansion in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, on Route 20, then the major route connecting Central Massachusetts with Boston. He moved his candy-making operations there, and America's First Roadside Candy Store was born. Mr. Hebert had started a new direction in candy marketing. Generations have visited the Candy Mansion for our Homemade Quality and taste. The Candy Mansion is a New England icon. Hebert Candies was acquired in August 2005. Our management team has vast experience building successful Brands, many are household names such as Famous Amos Cookies, Celestial Teas and Mauna Loa Macadamia Nuts to name a few. The same recipes, techniques and pride in the quality of the final product is evident in every aspect of the production of Hebert Chocolates, Fudge and Confections. Our Chocolate Chefs produce small batch richness that comes from nearly 90 years of experience. Finally, we are committed to outstanding customer service.
